Although Star Wars Squadrons supports VR, it does not output telemetry. I've read that you can select "Joypad" as the "game" in Game Manager and adjust motion from the movement of the joystick, but I don't have Joypad as a choice in my game drop down. Suggestions?
Hi Tiger,
You will need to use the Joystick plugin available with the other plugins in your account. I've only used it briefly as it's unfortunately not very good compared to real telemetry.

Thanks Steffen, I guess I just missed when I looked before! I'll give it a shot.
@tracktiger did you get this to work? I uploaded the joystick patch but not sure what to do after that. I try to point the path to the star wars squadron directory and it gives me "the selected path is no valid for patching" error
Any updates on this?
Did you manage to get it working?
I'm on the edge of buying the game especially for the experience with the RacingCube.
I have used the joystick plugin before and it works. However, it's not nearly as immersive as with telemetry, but it could serve some purpose depending on what you are looking for.
Unfortunately Squadrons devs does not seem to be interested in supporting telemetry api's. It IS possible to use the game with telemetry, but it will break after every update, hence no one want to do it. You can see how to find the memory pointers which are needed here: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/cheat-engine-how-to-find-memory-hook-pointers-for-star-wars-squadrons.15425/

@7racer As you can see, I don't login here often! Yes, It worked pretty well once I deciphered what their definitions of motion were. But it quit working with Windows 11 update. I'm a little fearful of SimTools v3 update since I don't know if I will have to reconfigure all my other presets to work with it!
@davelicious-2 I got it to work with Win 10 quite well. No luck with Win 11. (Squadrons is really cheap now!)
