Hi Steffen and Tommy,
on quick motion I recognize a play in the actuator link, but I can't tell if this is new or I'm just getting more and more sensitive to motion.
I made a short video, showing at the first seconds rotational play (gears?) and radial play (bearings).
Please have a look on it and let me know if this is something normal or what I should / can do?
Thank you very much
Michael

Hi Michael,
A little play should be expected but it's a bit hard to determine how much you experience. Have you tried fastening the bolts that holds the gearboxes on the lower frame? They should not come loose, but as with everything that can move it could be necessary to tighten them again.
we fasten the bolts with 2.1N.

Hi Steffen,
thanks for quick reply.
They are tighend, all the play is comming from the axle. One part of the play is likely backlash from gear set and the other bearing play between axle and bearing, bearing only or bearing to housing.
But as I wrote, I'm not sure if this is getting more. Maybe you can crosscheck with a new RC4. The actuator in the video is the rear one.
Enjoy and stay safe

Alright, that's good. There need to be some play in the gearbox to be able to take some of the tension. Yours does not look much more than a new one though, a little more over time should be expected once it settles.
Please monitor it and let us know if you feel it's getting worse, it should stay the same for now.

Thanks Steffen, I will observe and report if changes are significant.
