Anyone else writing plugins for SimTools for use on the RC4? 🙂

I have looked at the API guide on the XSimulator forum and started reading through the developer forums: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/miscellaneous.63/

My current status is that I've gotten the sample Unreal project up, built a plugin for it, and loaded that plugin into SimTools. When running SimTools and the Unreal program, I do see the outputs in the tuning center.

My problem right now is that the racing cube does not move with these outputs. I've checked, and the settings should all be the same as Dirt 4, which works properly. On the tuning center, the outputs appear to be about the same too.

Any suggestions, in general or specifically about this? Thanks!

I was able to get my simulator moving by capturing the max/min and saving the new settings:

It's alive~!

Hi Nate,

I am not a programmer and you might have more luck on xsimulator.com regarding programming questions. For making settings for custom software and games, you should use the capture setting in Tuning Center and play the game for some time to capture movements. Usually the numbers are individual from game to game and with no movement on the platform the numbers might be too high (not enough movement to see).
