Hello,
Using the Oculus Rift virtual reality glasses I get nauseous. So I have to use the multiple screen setup.
What I was wondering if it is advisable and possible to use a 34” widescreen display with the monitor mount accessoire?
Or is it really necessary to use the 3 ASUS 24” screens?
Regards,
Adwim
Hi Adwim,
Yes, unfortunately some people do experience motion sickness and cannot get used to it. I hope for better technology in the coming years!
The reason we are recommending 3x24" screens is not because the simulator cannot carry the 34". It's simply because that screens this size would be ripped apart at the mounting point as they are usually using the plastic casing for the VESA mounts. I have a 34" Curved myself and i could never be able to mount it and have it working after a few minutes due to the size and weight. They are simply not built for motion in any kind.

Hi Steffen,
Thanks for your quick answer. Sounds logical indeed, I could have thought of that myself!

Hi Adwim, welcome.
Have you checked your FPS using the Oculus to try and get it to 90FPS, this makes a huge difference with nausea
Theres a ton of posts and threads depending on what game you are playing
Good luck and enjoy
