Thanks a lot JMD,
If its really working, then I would change to Vive instead of Oculus most probably...but first I need to fix the troubles with the RC4..
Cheers

Lovely, thx for sharing JMB 🙂
This will probably fix the annoying issue i have with the yaw movement which I want to increase, but can't as when the chair turns the camera view doesn't, for instance when the seat turns to the left I have to look to the right to keep in center with the correct view.
Hi!
Then I guess I should start looking for a "cheap" Vive Pro full kit...because with Oculus is a no-go...
Can you please confirm if you get full 3D-positioning movement using the Vive? for racing...using Oculus, I could survive without it (getting only 360º head movement) but with flight sims, I do really need to move around to press the buttons in the flight deck.
And about the HTC Vive Pro, compared to the HTC Vive, is significant the improvement in regards to screen definition/resolution and screen door effect? 1500USD vs 550USD makes me raise this question! 🤑 🤣
Thanks in advance!

Hi Sete
this works, I’ve done so much testing since I’ve had the RC and at first I had to limit the movement with the Vive, now I dont have to worry anymore,
you will be able to do the same, I would personally go with a Pro it’s much better, you will also need a Vive tracker.
follow the guide link above and you will get it done,
‘if you get completely stuck ask Steffen to give you my number and I will help you.

Thanks a lot for the info JMB.
As its working under Steam VR enviroment, I guess this would work with any other program/simulator under such platform. Have you tried a different program such as Assetto Corsa/Project Cars or Xplane??
I would appreciate if you could try with a different game and share the outcoming.
Again thanks in advance!
(Well noted about the Vive Pro :) )
Update on @JMB-3D original setup guide: (For anyone who hasn't noticed)
The Vive Pro now works with motion cancelling without following the steps, namely
You can have the Tracker and controller turned on, and plugged in charging, before starting
You still have to set the Tracker to Motion Compensation in VR Emulator, and Apply.
Not sure which update this went through on, but its been working for a few months.
Yep, motion compensation fully works with only a few steps. I've created a new and updated version for HTC Vive/Pro and Valve Index HERE.
