Hi FS team!

Finally its here! and it looks awesome!

After 3 hours I got the full assembly process done. Then I installed the Simtools program and here is where I started to get lost...

When I am opening the program, I got 2 messages: " The interface connected to COM25 is not detected" and "The interface connected to COM26 is not detected".

After playing around in the program, I realised that I was able to change the ports, so I can select COM8 or COM9:

-COM8: with this selected, I performed the Output test, and the middle rear motor is not moving at all, getting for example in the Heave, a"pitch" movement only cause the middle rear actuator is doing nothing. In addition no Yaw movement at all...

-COM9: with this selected, I got working the middle rear motor and the Yaw movement too, but totally not fitting with he name of the supposed movement to be reflected (eg. in Roll is doing a yaw movement).

In addition, I tried the PC2 just to check the movements, and with the COM8 selected, the middle rear actuator is not moving at all, and no Yaw movement either (rear rotation motor not moving).

I guess (and I hope) this is just a configuration problem, that needs to be done manually, so please, let me know how should I proceed.

Thank you!

Hi all,

SOLVED!

THANK YOU Steffen for sending the email so quickly. I  copy/paste his answer in case anyone has the same problem, its needed just a fresh installation:

"The port configurations should happen automatically once you install SimTools. To make it easy for you, please uninstall SimTools along with Settings (It will ask) and install SimTools again. Once SimTools has been installed it will ask you to unplug the simulator from the computer, do that and press next. After that it will tell you to plug in the simulator to the PC again. It will detect it automatically and you are ready to go!"

Again, THANK YOU.
