There is startup and shutdown output option in SimTools Game Engine. Can it be used with RacingCUBE somehow? I would like to be able to set it to t hesame position were it started.

It is possible to set the start and stop position and I discussed it with the engineer a few days ago. You will need a code string to achieve this in SimTools 2 but the production have said that they will not spend time on it as SimTools 3 should be released in Beta late summer, and it is much more intuitive and better in general.

I have tested it in SimTools 3 and it seems to be working well already. It works with a slider instead of code which makes it easier to setup.

You can see how it works below.

Unfortunately I cannot give anyone access before beta for now.

Hi Steffen, that is good to know.

My sim room is quite small and it would be great to set it to a position, where it is not on the way out of my room. Also, with SteamVR it's little bit tricky sometimes to start driving, if position is not aligned to steamVR center line. Some apps start with intro video, and it's positioned wrong way, and sometimes inside a car your are not aligned with the steering column. Other titles start ok I mean, where you look, that's were the menu will land.  Anyway, let's hope the version 3 will come out soon.
