Hi I'm Joe

I will be using the Racing Cube with a HTC Vive (will upgrade to Pro on release) a Asus GTX 1080TI overclocked GC and an intel i9 processor.

Later I will look at the Pimak 8k, I backed this on Kickstarter so should get one soon. I will seek to find the best solution for Race cube and I racing.

I Use This configuration with I racing, it works amazingly with no issues and superb graphics, I'm running the super sampling in steam at 2.5 and most of the settings in I Racing are set to high, I will post some images of settings up soon.

It will great to share our experiences and setups with the Racing Cube so we can all get the benefits and the best out of the machine.

That sounds amazing! When can I come by to try it out  ? ? How are you planning to cancel the simulator motion in game?

Hi All.

Ready for the RC and this is my space, just need to get the bits bolted on when it arrives and I’m good to start testing.

Hello JMB-3D,
you are really well prepared Just the RC is missing
Does fasetech already support HTC-Vives? I saw fasetech's videos where they are using the removed link They attached the camera to the rig to compensate the seat removed link But I think they also have to manipulate the HMD’s inertia sensor redings to do it removed link The best way may be to send the motion of the seat directly to the oculus/htc removed link Is there any information about it?
I hope your RC is coming removed link Can’t wait for seeing videos and reading removed link
Sven

Hi sVR

Thanks for your post, if you don’t try you maybe will never know.

i will seek the best soloution as I’m a very keen racer and spend a lot of time on my static sim, worst case scenario is a simple fix by getting the recommended HMD.

Once the RC arrives and I understand it better I will share my experience. It will be interesting to see how it works out.

Sorry sVR, links is turned off for new members as we have had some troubles with fake profiles. I think it is 3 or 5 posts you need.

We do not officially support HTC Vive as the sensors cannot be attached to the rig due to them shutting down if they move. However and easy fix for it is to place the sensors off the simulator and turn down yaw to ~20degrees. It works fine and we are currently doing the same with Oculus as their software have a bug where it cannot track properly with too much motion. (We are looking into a fix).

Hi Guys

This is the setup I'm using in Iracing with my HTC Vive - 1080TI - i9, it runs really well and you can concentrate in VR on racing. Currently the only disruption I get is the odd bit of Lag from my internet connection. The most important thing I have found is the view is locked really well and never get any drift, it did at first but that's was down to the wrong settings in Iracing on the set up/Performance, after a lot of testing and research I eventually got this right, to be honest running the Graphics configurator and just altering a couple of things from advice from the forums done it, like most things I did tend to over complicate it to begin with. See  link for set up/Performance settings.....
