For whom might be interested in the Momo start seat

I got just now a reply from Michael from Fasetech and he asked directly the engineering dept

they say no problem in mounting this particular seat because it still uses a standard mount of a car seat

so it should work

Yes, can confirm it is supported too. Everything with standard mounts should fit on arrival.

The simulator will come with rails for the seat, meaning the seat will be adjustable (back and forth).

I will see if i can get a CAD drawing with measurements out for you soon, we are making it a bit wider, so i cannot use my prototype to showcase it unfortunately.

The website is currently in stasis as we are getting a new one, much more suited for the type of products we are offering, once that is done it will be updated with new information and accessories. Unfortunately the current website is not geared for this type of product and i want you all to be able to choose accessories on the site! Once i can i will post some pictures of it, though it will be a month or so. Currently, many things is manual for me.

Hi Steffen

The part you said (The simulator will come with rails for the seat, meaning the seat will be adjustable (back and forth).)

Can we remove this if we need to?

I'm buying a seat with runners fitted to the seat already.

Regards

Joe

Yes definitely. The rails is attached by two bolts on each end of the rails on the seat. It all can be changed and we only use standard measurements regarding bolts and steel pipes. I will try and ask our engineer for a drawing of it, unfortunately i cannot use my prototype to show it to you as the system has been improved on your models.

Agreed, this is why we made the forum. Also to share simulator settings with each other. I expect someone to be better adjusting the software than we are =) And as the simulators are almost identical it is now possible to share settings. We are really looking forward to seeing what you all can do with it!

Additional information. (Will announce it officially soon)

We are creating a new custom website to be able to showcase and offer accessories. Unfortunately the current site is terrible at handling accessories and featuring the simulators as we want it.

I am really excited to show it to you, however it will be a month or so before it is ready. But after then, i can add accessories and ease the manual work for me. (So i have more time to talk with all of you!)

I'm going to continue the old conversation.

I've already ordered the RC. Now I'm going to get a seat, but I haven't decided what to buy yet.

Any comments on this idea: One option would be Sparco R100. It has a reclining function, it's reasonably priced. It might be good to get the seat in different positions depending on what you play and who is playing. Main use will be for AssettoCorsa etc racing. And maybe a flight simulator too. Our kids are probably going to play EuroTruck.

The weight on the bench is 13 kg. I weigh about 70 kg myself and am 170 cm tall (short 🙂). There would also be seats weighing 6-7kg, but does the double weight of the R100 make much difference to the RC's performance? Any experience with that seat, it is comfortable? Would it provide sufficient support for racing?

Any other succestions for reclining seat? Fasetech offers Sparco Sprint FIA, but it looks like it may not be that comfortable for all of us.

Hi, welcome.

depending where you are from, this could be an option for you: https://bimarco.eu/en/

I have one, not reclining. But with my FlexRig adoption, I'm able to change the angle of the entire seat.

See video in post: FlexRig

Hi,

thanks for your comments.

Problem solved, I got to test a few seats. The guy in the shop assured me, that I need a bucket seat. Sport seat (like R100) won't cut it, I does not give enough support. So I ended up in the Sparco Grid Q QRT model. I'll have to wait to see how it works...
