I am looking into getting the racingcube, but I'm a bit confused on the actual weight limit of the person using the sim. Assuming you have a seat, wheel, hotas and pedals on the rig, what then is the weight limit the user has to meet?

Hi!

Due to the modular design of the platform we cannot give you a standard max weight, that's why we calculate the weight with no accessories or frame. With a standard VR setup, Thrustmaster T300 and a Sparco seat (8kg) you can fit a 120 - 130kg person on the platform. We do recommend keeping it as light as possible to prevent down scaling of the movements and details.

Hi,

I weigh 123kg (6’5”) and have a 16kg seat and all works well enough. My flight gear is Hotas Thrustmaster and currently have the G29 racing setup (soon to be all Fanatec gear) and using HTC Vive Pro. I’ve had all the gear on the Sim as a test just to see if it’ll make a difference and truth be told, i could not feel any difference.

Normaly i would have it set up in either racing or flight mode. Changeover only takes around 10 minutes.

👍
