Hi JMB and Mav!
Yeah!! quite exciting and Im sure whole FT team is working hard to make on time some modifications in the frame design to get best of it and complying with some user requests, but it would be nice to het some info from them like some photos and some information as I didnt get any email from FT to inform about delivery of final design..
Im really exicted and looking really forward to get the RC4 in the promised timeframe.
All my respect and support to FT team!!
See you soon all of you on the bumpy racetrack and in the turbulent air 🙂
Regards!
Amazing guys!!
I can't wait for mine but it will take more time as it will be second batch for me.
Any chance anybody from the first batch could do an unboxing and assembly video?
Hi Guys
I think their might be some photos posted by FT this coming week from the factory, if they get time, I can imagine its going to be hectic.
I got some info from Steffen because I emailed him for an update and he kindly responded. I'm looking at booking some time of work WC 19/03/18 and I'm preparing my room today for the RC. I will do an unboxing video, never done one before so it should be fun to do so.
Once I get settled with the RC I will try and do regular updates on set up and experience, you will need to follow https://fasetech.com/forums/share-configurations/racing-cube-htc-vive-1080ti-i9/?v=79cba1185463#post-102
where I will keep the news. I will also start a iRacing post for tech tips and set ups so we can help each over going forward.

Hi guys,
I can see you are all quite excited for the simulators to arrive, but the bad news is that we are getting delayed. All of you in batch 1 should have gotten an email, if not please contact us. For everyone else, you can see a short message about it here: https://fasetech.com/delay-in-the-production/
We sincerely apologize and we hope for your understanding. This is the first time we are scaling such big a production line and it is a LOT of work. We are working around the clock currently.
I will post some more pictures and a video in the week from the assembly plant. Looks like i'll be here for awhile.

Hey Steffen and FT team; I did get the e-mail and although I felt some disappointment , I also feel very comfortable and trusting of your approach. It's better to delay and guarantee quality (which I know you are aiming for, being Danish and all ? ) than push for the deadline and stress out about it (which I don't doubt you also do, being Danish and all? ).
I was a bit surprised about the level of detail and care to make the inventory of all the hardware everyone is using, and customizing the sim for everyone. This must be a mayor job, and I'm not that surprised this is taking much more time than anticipated. Either way, I'll await patiently and hope to see the fruits of your years of efforts whenever it meets you standard of quality (which I know are high, you being Danish and all ? )
Thank you for understanding! We are of course very disappointed that we have to postpone the shipping and we have considered all options to be on time. But unfortunately there is nothing we can do at this point as we really want to make sure you get the best product possible. With the added actuator strength and the other stuff we are including we are confident that this is the solution.
For now i will focus on helping all i can, and as soon as i see an opportunity i will make a video of some different stuff. (tips and tricks and manual motion so you can see the pitch and roll etc.) that way the wait might be tolerable =)
You are quite right, being on time is very important in Scandinavia, but we also want the product to be perfect. Those do not always add up, so we wanted to accommodate the quality and experience of the simulator 🙂
