Hi FaseTech team,

My name is Luis and I placed my pre-order with full payment and invoice number 0004 ?

In order to try to achieve an even better inmersive experience (if possible), Im planning to install various bass shakers along the RC4 frame.

We can see in your photos that you have already tried this setup but only one bass shaker installed in the upper back area of the seat.

Now the questions:

1. May we know which bass shaker and or how many watts (I guess around 100) is the only tested in your setup?

2. Do you think it would be possible to install 2x100w bass shakers (stereo channel) around the seat (one on each side), plus another smaller 2x50w under the pedals/rudder base? My concern would be if the shaking would somehow impact in the lifetime of any of the RC4 components (actuators..??) or in the device performance itself?

FYI, I will use the RC4 for racing and flightsim (DCS), only with VR headset (Oculus) setup.

Pd: what does it mean the digital numbers on the left of the RC4 main frame? Im wondering since the very first video I saw.

Thank you very much.

Regards,

Luis.

Hi Luis,

that is a pretty low invoice number you have got there 😉 Though, it does not mean anything regarding place on the pre-order list, it is a random number.

The bass shaker we are using is an off brand no name one, i am not sure how many watts it is, but i would say ~100. It is perfectly fine for you to attach as many as you can and feel comfortable with, just stay within the lax load. The simulator will not be affected.

The digital numbers is strength and speed. Though it will be moved to the base on the final version, as the placing on the frame is not very good. You will then be able to adjust it when you start a session.

We hope to see some videos of the simulator once you have received it =)

Regards
Steffen

Hi Steffen,

Thank you for the information and clarification, thats great!

Then I will continue with the idea, being most probably 4 buttkickers (50w each), and maybe in a later stage I would add one of 100w.

Regarding the invoice number, I thought so when I got it (it was too good to be true!)

Looking forward!!

Rgds

Luis.
