I've finally got around to doing this,
I got the Race cube back on the 1st June 2018, it seems so much longer, Weird.
Anyway, I wouldn't want to do without in now, it took me all that time to get used to it and tune it just right for me.
At last I have, over the past month now I have stopped messing with the settings and enjoy racing as much as I can.
I’ve got the settings for sim tools pretty much perfect, the motion Cancellation is spot on, the 2080Ti is doing its job and combined the overall experience is fantastic. I've got a good amount of movement going on.
What I’ve done is a video from my iPad of the simulator doing 3 Test laps at Bathurst in the Ruf RT 12R Track, (Sorry about the quality, I’m on my own here) I start and finish in the pits.
I’ve also done a video of the laps from the screen using GeForce to record it, the reason why I done this is for you to see what I am seeing through the Vive pro headset, it is that clear.
I guess if you were to run the two videos together it might give a better impression of how it all works.
Apologies for the delay in this as I did promise a while back, hope you find this informative, I enjoyed doing it, Action, take 3
Nearly forgot the links

Nice Joseph, well done. I think Steffen and Michael should be giving you Marketing rights 🙂

Also just got my Sim and ironing out a few issues. And working my way up on iRacing also in the Ruf series, so will hopefully see you there soon.

(I think its on another post, but please share your SimTools settings. I tried the ones from your first video, so keen to see what you're using now)

Andrew

Thank you very very much for taking the time to make and share this.

I've done a few laps around Bathurst in my Simexperience rig so it was extremely interesting to see the RC4-4DOF motion in relation to both the track position and your inputs

Also your other comments about your cabling (& VR) etc was also very useful as I consider the physical & practical aspects of installing my own unit

Sometimes on this forum it feels like there's only be a couple of units out in the wild as not much feedback makes its way here so again, all your posts are very much appreciated

Cheers

Lindsay

Cheers Lindsay.

‘Here’s a little tip for you, I would avoid using the extra USB ports on the Racecube, when I first got mine I used them both and had some strong erratic movements, ‘I took them out and all has been fine,

recently I plugged in some usb strip lights and put them under my seat (Pimp my Ride), I started to get issues again with different symptoms, none good, it was messing with apps, got a couple of screen blanks in the headset aswell, took them out and all is back to normal.
